One of the key pillars of the Envirologic team is our Senior Field Geologist, Bob Webster. Bob graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Western Michigan University. As our resident field expert, he is involved in numerous projects across all our service areas.
Bob originally joined Envirologic as a Field Technician in 1999. He has experienced firsthand the evolution of the environmental industry and overseen Envirologic’s efforts to conduct field services in an ever-changing regulatory landscape. With over 30 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, Bob has the know-how to competently and efficiently perform a variety of tasks on site. The bulk of Bob’s job is conducting delineation work for Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and contaminant investigations. However, he also performs soil and water sample collection, air monitoring and sampling, installation of monitoring wells, oversight of underground storage tank removal projects, building inspections for asbestos-containing materials, and other field services.
Bob and his partner, Terri, have three cats (Nadia, Skeeter, and Nikolai), all three of which are former strays. Nikolai, the newest addition to their family, was actually found wandering in Envirologic’s parking lot.
Outside of work, Bob spends one night a week bowling in the Allstate Bowling League of Battle Creek. His dad was also a bowler, so Bob’s been bowling since he was 4 or 5 years old. He’ll proudly tell you he has one career 300-point game and a high series (three-game total) of 789 points. Bob’s also an avid coin collector. When he previously worked as a cashier, his coworkers became used to him buying out the more interesting coins at the end of their shifts.
